Tenure-track faculty members are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College’s published policies. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a full-salary one-semester research leave prior to tenure review, and generous sabbatical and fellowship leaves for tenured faculty. Experience collaborating with undergraduates on research will be considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research in the social and/or cultural history of the ancient world, and to those with an interest in and ability to contribute to one or more of following interdisciplinary programs: Africana Studies Asian Studies Environmental Studies Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies International Studies Latin American & Latino Studies Middle Eastern Studies and Peace & Conflict Studies.
